I'm mainly a GabV1el shipper, but I could be convinced to enjoy other ships as well. V1 x V2 (Vcest?) is my other fave. I'm also down for Minos/Gabe on occasion.
Ferryman/Gabe is my NOTP, but only because I'm a Gabriel simp and the Ferryman reminds me too much of myself. I live by 'ship and let ship', though.

I will confess that I am the self-insert type of shipper (yume-aligned fujoshi). I always thought that's how everybody did it, but after talking to shipper friends I seem to be in the minority.

Anyway, Gabriel is my wife (male) and I wish I was V1 so I could beat the shit out of him. It's really wonderful how he insults you at first; being the first real 'wall' in the game for a lot of players, it feels great to beat him into submission. Damn bratty angel!!!

I'm basic and tend to enjoy a straightforward seme/uke dynamic in ships, but with GabV1el it feels like there's many layers to their relationship. I could see either one of them topping or being dominant... maybe because I'm a scrub gamer who got my ass handed to me the first time I fought Gabe. (I think my preference is top Gabriel... I feel like that's the take that will get me cancelled for real... But he's still a masochistic weirdo! Small dom x big sub! You have to understand!)

The combination of a divine being x hell machine is really cool and appeals to my chuuni sensibilities. The contrast! It's one of the core tenets of yaoi! They're like a fancy prep school boy x punk delinquent! The more you chew on their differences, the more delusional you can become about them. Making a note to myself to consume psychedelics and think really hard about Ultrakill yaoi some time.
